My buddy took me out to the NE quadrant of the city for some long range downtown shots the other night. I’d never been to the locale but my friend had checked it out earlier and knew exactly where we were going; so we geared up and headed out. After a long climb up a grassy hill, we set up the camera’s and started shooting. The night was hazy and not perfect for these types of shots – but we ended up lucking out anyway – woohoo!! Doing a 180 degree turn, we found some lightning going off in the distance. It was mostly sheet lightning but I was able to score a photo of a bolt. It was really a lot of fun and I’ll be trying to get some more lightning in the future!
Thanks for stopping by!
