This shot was taken about 10:30pm. It’s a tiny little wildflower native to Alberta. We found this little lady living beside a creek in Kananaskis Country. It had just rained and we were heading home. I saw this flower peeking out at me and stopped to try for a close up. A friend held a little LED flashlight while I shot in manual mode. I took a few shots as it was pretty dark by this time and the initial attempts came out blurry – I boosted the ISO a bit and turned up the SS and finally got it. The best part is I had no idea what this flower was named until I Googled it for this post – ya learn something new everyday – haha. I love the rain kissed purple petals with the red and yellow combo!!
Thanks for stopping by!
