I love “thrifting”! I’ll hit up a thrift shop in every town I visit. I am always looking for old cameras or anything interesting – used CD’s for instance – haha!
Today, I present to you an old Voigtlander VF 101. I just picked this up for like $3.99. It seems to work okay, everything was clean and moving so I’m going get some film and try it out this summer in the evening! The sample pics online looked cool – may even try some expired film I’ve been saving! The other camera I will probably never be able to use unfortunately. It’s a really cool 1937 Agfa Movex 8 movie camera. It is the first movie camera to use a cassette according to Wikipedia. I picked it up last year at a store in Edmonton cause I thought it was in great shape, well made, it was cheap and it could make a good prop in a shoot. It even came with the original case.
Thanks for stopping by!!
