I got up early the other day and headed out to see if I could get some cool pictures of the sunrise during our chinook. I’d been seeing some amazing displays of light during the past week on the drive into work. So that was my inspiration. These scenes were shot out on a farm road west of the city about 20 minutes. I’ve actually had a tour of the farm with a buddy of mine who was a hand there about 15 years ago. I’ve always thought it was pretty cool – right in between the city and the mountains. The sky was a gorgeous colour facing both east and west. The last picture is taken after doing a 180 degree turn with my tripod. The wind was blowing super hard too, sweeping down from the mountains. I used my car as a wind block or else the gale force gusts would’ve blown me and the camera over!
Thanks for stopping by!
