My buddy and I were out for a drive Sunday west of the city. We had high hopes of getting a nice sunrise, some wildlife or anything interesting really – haha! We picked the wrong day to get up and be on the road by 7:30! It was cloudy and there was no sunrise at all. It was more like a lightening of the sky – from black to dark grey to light grey! We drove north of Calgary first, then headed west past Cochrane. The only thing we came across even resembling wildlife were some super friendly horses – not wild at all – haha! We pulled over on the way home cause a couple of them were pretty cute. As soon as we got within 10 feet of the fence they came over and wanted to meet us. We went over and they all sniffed our hands. They let us pet them and within a couple minutes, became our muse! They were so awesome it made our trip worthwhile.
Thanks for stopping by!
