It’s been really nice here in Calgary the past couple of weeks and I have been fortunate enough to make it out to the mountains and to the west of town for a couple shoots. It was midday and the sky was blown out for the two mountain shots so I tried to get funky with the angles and reflections. Then I got home and flipped them 180 degrees – haha!
This first picture was taken just above Canmore. The mountain is on the bottom and the water on top!
The picture below was taken on the Spray Lakes Road. It is a gorgeous drive – except that most of it is gravel and it can get dusty if there are people ahead.
This reflection was taken just west of the city at Griffith Park. It’s a small park and can get busy but the scenery is gorgeous. It’s crazy how it almost looks like nature painting!
